The KitchenWare Station MS-6RS high quality stainless steel blade professional semi- automatic meat food slicer is perfect for home use, caterers and chefs etc. MS-6RS features a compact design, its overall dimensions is 15.2 (L) * 14.8 (W) *13 (H). This meat slicer features 200 watts of motor power, it is perfect for slicing meats(recommended), vegetables, cheeses and fruits smoothly, quickly and effortlessly up to .4″ thick (0-10mm) with the numerical scale knob. MS-6RS also has a built-in dual whetstones sharpener and ring guard assembly for the blade, which is more convenient to keep a razor sharp edge on the blade, and safer to use. The slicer’s blade of KitchenWare Station MS-6RS in red is constructed of high quality stainless steel; and the body of MS-6RS is made of aluminum alloy which are more durable and less likely to corrode.

I bought this for the Christmas Holidays back in 2016, and now its nearing Thanks giving 2021. This Slicing Machine still works great and Blade still remains sharp. the built on Sharpener attachment keeps the blade sharp and keen…and I only used the sharpener maybe 6 times. I use this machine several times a week normal usage and even more during holidays. Cutting all kinds of Roasts, Deli, Vegetables, I slice potatos paper thin for frying [homemade potatochips], and various cheese [Hint: partially freeze cheese for more ease in cutting]. Machine is built well, sturdy and runs very quietly, and sits looking great on my kitchen counter top. Safety is well though out…the one small thing that has bothered me is Red Enamel has chipped a little but not bad. I would have spent a little more and bought the Companies Stainless Steel Model. kWs is a good Company that more or less wrote the book on professional Slicers Machines and mine is no exception.

Please understand. I have used the big ones in restaurants over the years. DON’T BUY THIS FOR COMMERCIAL USE!!! It’s too small for that. For home use it’s fantastic. Buy the gloves to keep from getting cut by the blade durming cleaning. Cleaning isn’t quick, but worth it. Great slicer.

Have used once on potatoes as a way of getting to know the machine before it gets used on frozen meats. I am looking for a non-slip mat to use under it. I feel the 6″ blade is perfect for what we need. The build quality deserve my 5 star rating and will update my review in a few months.

We make Italian sausage every year and slicing it by hand is no fun. I bought a cheap slicer at Cabela’s and it had a plastic gear inside that burned up. The blade was thin and the motor was weak so it struggled for the short time that it worked at all. This slicer is perfect for our sausage. It has a strong blade, is quiet and the motor doesn’t seem to struggle at all. I love this thing. I highly recommend it.

I find it works nicely, I enjoy using it, clean up takes a few minutes, and meat needs to be chilled before slicing. Overall a great home product, when you can buy a whole turkey breast or roast and slice it when you need it, I use mine once a week for lunches, slice, wrap and store in the fridge.

The con to me was the blade was not able to be completely exposed for cleaning, I used a meat baster to rinse and flush food from the shield area. I sliced a large ham butt, so had to cut it in one pound size blocks to slices which worked great for sandwiches. This works similar to a commercial grade slicer, but with a smaller blade. Will be helpful for large family gathering. Yes, buy again!
