So far seems like a great hot water boiler, and there are on parts that someone can use to contaminate the boiler by making coffee in it.

I use this for a slightly unconventional usage. Heating up water to take camp showers and doing laundry while on the road. This was the largest self contained water heating vessel that claimed it boiled water. Actually works great for my purposes. Heats up pretty fast too. Yeah, we can make coffee, soups, oatmeal etc., with the water that comes out of it as well. It’s plenty hot!

Now if we end up in a zero electricity situation, there are other water boilers, but hold less water. From the propane powered versions all the way down to a Kelty Stove at 40 oz. of boiling water. At which point, I’d still keep this to store hot water, as the insulation is pretty decent on the sides. The top is just plastic with two tiny vent holes. So, if you needed to just store hot water for a period of time between water boilings on another stove, then I’d suggest having a piece of circular cut foam handy.

My commercial water boiler that was going on for years and was starting to break down, so I decided to buy this as a replacement. There wasn’t many options for this kind of boiler on Amazon, and the other few had sub-par/no reviews (EX: ProChef PU65 with 44% 5 stars). This is my experience with this so far (I have used this for around 2 weeks by now).

    Pros-
    – Non-pump design.
    – Stainless steel.
    – Double wall insulated.

    Cons-
    – Evaporates all the water in half a day if you don’t turn it off..
    – Leaks when you fill the boiler to the max (or close to that due to the pressure).
    – Hard to put a cup under the spout if you don’t hang it over a counter (A issue with non-pump designs) .

I purchased the water boiler for my mom, and she loves it! She keeps it on all the time and whenever she wants a cup of tea, the water is hot and ready for her!

We haven’t had it that long but so far it seems to be working adequately and we are very happy with it. It gets used daily on a regular basis.

I purchased this for an office where we have many tea drinkers.. After having gone through a few regular 8 -10 cup water heating pots I decided to go with a commercial water heating pot that holds 42 cups of water. We have only had it a few weeks but it is extremely easy to use. I did contact the seller about a few questions I had concerning the pot and they were promptly answered.
