KWS Teflon Blade

High Quality 304 Stainless Steel Coated with Teflon Blade

Unlike some of the carbon steel blades on the market which has a shorter service life, is easily oxidized and blunt out. Our KWS 10″ high quality 304 Stainless Steel coated with Teflon blade is anti-rust, firm and more durable. It offers precision while providing several different slice adjustments. It consistently and effortlessly cuts meat, vegetables, or cheese from paper thin to 0.4 inch thick.

Our advance Teflon blade model can efficiently prevent residue from building up. With that being said, customer do not need to wipe off the excess of produce off of your blade as often during slicing process when using Teflon blade as compare to stainless steel blade. If you are someone who wish to slice a lot of cheeses, we will definitely recommend you to our Teflon blade model.

Built- In Sharpener

Our KWS slicer features a built- in sharpener that both hones and sharpens the blade. It helps the blade to maintain a sharp edge for slicing by pushing the front and back button for a couple of seconds, ensuring that your blade is always razor sharp and ready to slice.

  1. JayD

The carriage is well made and is smooth to operate. The cutting blade is non-stick and can be used for cutting meat, cheese, etc. Definitely would buy again.

  2. dawn davis

Philly cheesesteak so far. Only used once but it worked flawlessly.

  3. cecilio Martinez

    Muy buen priducto

  4. John

Very good quality for the price, sliced up 15lbs of frozen beef for jerky. It managed paper thin to 1/8″ thick with no issues. Pretty sure it cuts up to 5/8″ thick.

  5. jeff tustin

Easy to operate Rand adjust thickness

  6. Rochelle

I bought this for Christmas for my husband. We love this works like a charm, and I wanted pretty when it was on the countertop! Heavy Duty and slices super thin! We had a little trouble with cheese so we need to play with that a little more! But if you are wanting to do your own deli items this is the machine!!

  7. Joe Lascelles

I love the power it has compared to other models I have had but takes about a half hour to an hour to clean.

  8. Jason Skloss

Satisfied for use with Prosciutto, Speck, Pancetta, etcetera. Good price/value ratio.

  9. totto2222

if you want ham and roast beef you can read the newspaper through, this is the ticket.
my only cons are it is heavy and pricey.
wish i would of bought it earlier

  10. egbjr

This slicer does all that the vendor stated it would. It is a very well made product, that works well and should give me years of use. Set up was easy, and yes the use of a non slip mat under it is very helpful. Cleanup is a lot easier than I thought it would be. OK it does take a little time, but it is not challenging. One comment – you really do need a pair of the no cut gloves to safely handle the blade. It is extremely sharp, and heavy. I will admit to using only one glove during the final installation steps (ie putting the screws back in), but other than that you need the gloves. I have cut over 100 lbs of meat with this slicer since purchasing it with absolutely no problems.
Negative comments: There were a couple of places where the red coating was worn off, and one small area where the coating had surface blemishes in it. For the most part the minor cosmetic defects are not visible, and they do not bother me in the least. They in no way would cause me to give this slicer less than 5 stars for quality, and performance, and value. I also found the plastic hand guard that attaches to the rear of the sliding carriage to be very awkward to use. I have removed it, and I do not feel that I am in any greater danger of slicing myself if I use the slicer as intended. It is an additional safety device, but it gets in the way.
I would recommend that anyone who needs a good quality slicer buy this one. I would purchase another one if I ever needed a second slicer. I do not ever see myself wearing this one out.

  11. Vivkie I Roe

    awesome slicer

  12. michael marinelli

I bought this to help save money on buying cold cuts. We are a family of five and i usually spend anywhere from $35.00 to $50.00 a week on cold cuts alone. I have it now 6 weeks and must have cut 100 lbs. of meat if not more. We get the meat wholesale, slice it and freeze it. when the thaw they taste fine on the meats i have cut up already. This also works great cutting American and Swiss cheeses. I like buying whole pork loins and I slice that just as well to make nice thick pork chops and can also make really nice thin ones to make pork Scallopini, and parmigiana. As far as cleaning goes it is not so bad, the blade comes off real easy, 3 screws and one bolt that goes through all to the blade plate. This is my first slicer i ever bought, and i was going to buy one of those for $100.00, but i am glad that i got this one. With all that i have used it for so far, and money that i saved, it paid for itself. the only negative thing i have to say is that knob that you turn to adjust the thickness of the slices, is very stiff to turn, and is small. I am hoping that in time it will loosing a bit.
when slicing it just glides along so smoothly cut after cut. The blade is super sharp, and its great that there is a built in sharpener as well to keep it that way. i had bought a 5 pound prosciutto and i was able to make them so nice and thin, you could almost see through it, that surprised me. only problem is when they are that thin it is hard to handle the slices.
i will keep updating this review, but for now it definitely deserves 5 stars.

  13. Tom Cat

Works wonderful. Takes time to clean but not hard to clean. Be sure to grease rod underneath it becomes rusty after using water to clean. Apply oil after each use.

  14. T Johnson

    Holds measuring perfect for thickness

  15. Steven

Sharp appearance. Quality materials. Had to return first unit sent due to manufacturing issues but replacement was received in 2 days. 2nd unit no problems.

  16. BookBuyer30

    Well made, useful in kitchen

  17. Everett Longanecker

    Great Deal AAA+++

  18. Scott

Took a little bit to get on phone. Once they responded, they were very accurate and helpful. I was just a little too anxious for a response. In reality, only took a few hours. Great job!

  19. secbnc

Absolutely great slicer. Powerful, amazing range of thicknesses, very good looking, built sturdy. Expect to last for very long time.

Only caveat is blade removal. THIS UNIT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THEIR “BLADE SAFELY REMOVAL” TOOL!

My unit, I had a very hard time getting one of the 3 blade holder screws out. Almost stripped head. The blade is Razor sharp, it would be nice if the tool worked on this model. Applied small but of wd40, waited 5 minutes and got out. This will not be a problem going forward, just make sure not to put too much torque on screws. Make snug and tight but not so much u can’t remove.

In summary, the thing is awesome.

  20. Pink Lady

This “gadget” works just like you see in a deli… Getting it as clean as it was when you started is essential. So that takes a bit of work. Also, it is a bit too heavy to move around easily. So ours has a permanent place on our kitchen counter now. But after years of considering this purchase, I now say “what took us so long?”
    I highly recommend this item.

  21. mike

    Fast and as advertised.

  22. Randy

    I got my order fast

  23. Rodney

This is the real deal! It will slice thru meat like it is soft butter. Tonight was the first time I used it and I was thrilled with it!

  24. John

Works very well. Great purchase for any large meats made at home or bread.

  25. Gluten Free Friend

Professional meat or bread slicing at home
This is a well-built machine and slices meat or bread very thin. A little time-consuming to clean but worth the perfection in slicing.

  26. Brigitte Tholl

Product is well worth the money. Will be one of my favorite piece of equipment! Well made and rates a 10 in my book 😊

  27. Joseph Tevaarwerk

Nice machine. Use it every day so far. Replaced an older machine we had for 30+m years .

  28. Daniel Shackelford

This slicer is a beauty, is quiet, and does a great job with charcuterie, which is all I have used it for so far. It can slice very, very thin if you like, but this is easier if the meat is chilled. Removing and cleaning the heavy blade is a bit nerve wracking even with cut resistant gloves, but not difficult, and it takes me less than 10 minutes to clean up. It might take longer when I am shaving deli meat, but for charcuterie that holds together it was pretty quick.

  29. Cristiano Nisoli

I bought this ~6 months ago, and sliced on it ~36 Lb. of Prosciutto di Parma, ~20 Lbs of Mortadella, ~22 Lbs of Prosciutto Cotto, about 2 Pancette, about ~15 Lbs of Speck, among other things.

I do not cut cheese, I do not cut frozen meat, neither do I cut bred or thick slice of anything–as common among Americans. So those interested in such functionalities (most people) might disregard this review.

My main aim was to find a slicer that a) could be used for Italian/European meats b) did not look ugly on my countertop.

This has met both requirements. It really can cut prosciutto or even pancetta as thin as you wish.

    Some suggestions

+ If would look better if the color was matte red rather than sparkling

+ The knob has settings for thickness 0-12. For my use I am confined to finely finding the right position between 0 and 0.85, which, as you might imagine, is not very easy. I would rather have preferred a non-linear relation between the knob and the thickness at the blade, so that thin settings could be more finely controlled. This is only relevant for the use with European delis which need very thin cuts.

+ When it arrived it did not start. The blade was stuck. I dismounted the blade and remounted it. There is some minimal wobbling in its rotation that does not seem however to affect functionality.

+ Some people complained that cleaning is long. It depends what you slice. I find I can clean and sanitize it in about 8 minutes. Seems reasonable to me.

+ The cart is not as smooth moving as it could be. I had to grease it.

Also: make sure to wear proper protective gloves when removing the blade.

  30. Ron Jon

    Nice Machine

  31. Jonathan

My experience with this slicer is when the material cut slaps back onto the blade it takes a trip around the blade and out onto the wall where my dog awaits my misfortunes. Solved the issue by raising the cutting side a coupe inches. Bowls, books, or 4×4 crafted to hold the feet steady. (No I do not recommend this for others that will not take all precautions) Yes we can still have some mishaps and why I now slice on the patio where my treat collector awaits another miscalculated cut. Lubing the blade can help on cheeses. Other than that I really enjoy the clean slices it provides.
As for cleaning. Yes the blade removal can be difficult but most of the time I remove the carrier and slide plate for washing and wipe down the rest with a terrycloth using water and bleach on any surface the food touches.
The way its built is very safe for operation and cleaning. Keep your fingers clear and nothing to worry about.

  32. John Trier

I did my usual YouTube research after we decided to buy a meat slicer. My goal was to buy one in the $125 zone. After a few weeks of research I abandoned that price range and decided on this machine. I even paid extra for the red paint color. I have no earthly idea what I’m doing, but it’s been fun learning. Power, check. Extremely quiet operation, check. Slices meat, check. Impress your friends and family, check. I’d buy it all over again.

  33. florian j royack

we have tried several different slicers and returned them all until this one…easy to work with and slices our sandwich meat very thin which we like in many cases.. highly recommend

  34. Sharon J Bell

We use this to slice meat for jerky and home made bacon. Love it!

  35. Ronald Hilliard

Better than expected. I love this machine!!

  36. Paul Kennedy

Works perfectly.. fast ship.. thank you !

  37. Keith Goad

Good strong slicer. Wish it would open more to make wider cuts.

  38. Joyce Young

I am retired teacher, cleaning is a major pain, multiple steps and finally must get screwdriver to get to blade. Other than that, it is an amazing slicer.

  39. Noah Aguilar

Absolutely flawless; perfect seller. Fast shipping! 5+ stars. Thanks a bunch!

  40. Michael

This slicer is a beast! I am so stoked to start using this for cheeses and slicing my own roasts, etc. (Will update after I actually run it and deal with the clean up)

  44. Britt Juliff

Seller is great. Good product. Excellent support.

  45. Todd Seeley

seems well built and sturdy. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet. after use i may update

  46. Willie Clemmer

Very easy to take apart clean and reassemble works like a champ

  47. Bret Jackson

Bought a different smaller one and the plastic gears broke after first use, cheese puts a large load on the blade, this handles it like a Pro!

  48. Robert Gonzales

The slicer is perfect for slicing meat for jurky, is amazing you can slice a frozen roast! Very easy to take apart to clean!

  49. KWS Customer

I got this primarily to slice meat for slicing meat for Korean barbeque and for jerky. I could never get the butcher at the grocery to cut the meat as I requested. The red slicer is pretty (except for a couple of scratches it came with), but I anticipate more scratches over time. I wish an identical silver model had been available for the same price.

As far as performance: When I was working with meat that was half frozen, it made quick work of slicing a roast, with smooth cuts and back and forth movement of the platform. However, it didn’t perform well with a raw roast that was not frozen — the meat was just not firm enough to keep its shape, and shifted off kilter on each pass back. I haven’t tried cooked meat yet.

As far as cleaning. Holy Moly. It took me about 45 minutes to get it apart and clean the pieces. Believe the complaints about the screws on the blade being so tight you are in danger of stripping the heads. I had to get my husband to work the screwdriver while I held the blade and the slicer still (The blade kept spinning as he tried to turn the screws.) With very slow turning and hard pushing, he finally got them loose without stripping them. Now that I’ve done it once, it won’t take as long the next time, but it will still be a 30 minute task.

Overall I’m pleased with the slicer because it does a great job for my purpose — but because of the pain to clean, it probably won’t be something I’ll pull out casually to do a small quick job.

UPDATE: I did a second round of slicing and cleaning was much quicker and easier now that I know what to do (and what NOT to do). Tips: In addition to protective gloves, I put a towel on the area under the blade as I was removing or replacing it, to avoid scratches on the paint, and also for safety. Also — I put some plastic wrap on the back plate (where the meat lands). It made cleanup and sanitizing a lot easier. I also covered the on/off switch and the thickness knob with plastic wrap so as not to contaminate them. And finally, I put rubber gloves on OVER my kevlar gloves — it kept them clean, dry and sanitary.

Q: What does the term semi automatic refer too? I’m looking at the MS-10XT. I’m familiar with a fully automatic slicer that does everything for, you, but not clear on a semi automatic....Does it refer to the return of the carriage being semi automatic? Please let me know. Eric
— Asked by Eric Eisenbud on 04/06/2020
A: Thank you so much for your interest in our MS-10XT meat slicer. To answer your question, the blade of our KWS semi-automatic meat slicer model spins automatically once the machine is power on. It also added a special design on the bottom which helps the product tray to rebound back when you push it. Comparing to our KWS MS-12A automatic meat slicer, our MS-12A does everything for you. Once you put the meat on the product tray, it can slice meat automatically without any labor of pushing the product tray. We hope this answer your question.
